Dr. Raza’s career trajectory is marked by her role at Avadel Pharmaceuticals, where she excelled as a Senior Medical Science Liaison in the fields of sleep, neuroscience, and rare diseases. During her tenure, she was instrumental in launching LUMRYZ, an extended-release sodium oxybate for the treatment of narcolepsy in adults with excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) or cataplexy. Her efforts in building and maintaining strong relationships with sleep specialists, including neurologists, psychiatrists, pulmonologists, and psychologists, were pivotal to the successful introduction of this novel therapy.

Before her role at Avadel Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Fariha Raza served as a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Kadmon, where she played a key role in the launch of REZUROCK for chronic graft versus host disease (GVHD) in hematology/oncology. Her efforts at Kadmon demonstrated her expertise in oncology, particularly in building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers and ensuring the successful introduction of new therapies.
Fariha’s earlier career includes her tenure as a Clinical Pharmacist at Soliant Health, where she provided exemplary medication management services across various specialties at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Her comprehensive understanding of infectious diseases, nephrology, rheumatology, endocrinology, respiratory medicine, immunology, oncology, dermatology, cardiology, and neurology was critical to her role in ensuring excellent patient care.
